Voltdash is an independent, third-party app. It is not made, endorsed, or

supported by Tesla, Inc. "Tesla" and vehicle model names are trademarks of their

1. Who we are

Voltdash ("we", "the app") is a third-party iOS app that reads your Tesla's data

locally over Bluetooth (BLE) to provide an efficiency coach, Sentry dashboard,

performance timer, trip planner, and an optional anonymous community/leaderboard.

2. What stays on your device and never leaves it

• BLE pairing keys / private keys — stored only in the iOS Keychain. Never uploaded

anywhere, ever.

• Your raw VIN — never leaves the device. If you use the community, only a

*per-account salted hash* may be stored, which cannot be reversed to your VIN.

• GPS coordinates / precise location — used on-device for the map and road-grade

correction only. Location is not uploaded to our servers.

• Drive, performance, Sentry, and parking records — stored locally by default

(Apple SwiftData). They leave the device only if you turn on cloud backup (see §4).

3. Sign-in (optional)

The app is fully usable signed out. If you choose to sign in (Sign in with Apple or

Google, via Firebase Authentication), we store:

• Your email address. Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email" provides a private relay

address; Google sign-in provides your real address. We use it only to tie your backup

to your account. We never sell it or use it for advertising.

4. Cloud backup and community (optional, requires sign-in and a subscription)

If you turn on cloud backup or share to the community, the following is stored in Google

Firebase (Firestore/Storage):

• Backup: your drive/performance/parking records and your custom widgets/dashboards,

linked to your account. Drive timestamps can reveal commute patterns; we treat them as

personal data.

• Community/leaderboard (public): your chosen nickname, speed class, elapsed time,

energy (kWh), a general vehicle model, and any widget/dashboard you explicitly publish

with an optional short description. Never your VIN, GPS, state of charge, real name,

or BLE keys.

5. What we do NOT do

• No advertising SDKs, no cross-app/website tracking, no data brokers. The app does not

request App Tracking Transparency permission because it does not track you.

• We do not store payment card details. Subscriptions are processed by Apple; we only

verify the receipt and store your entitlement (subscription on/off) state.

6. Data retention and deletion

• Local records live until you delete them or uninstall the app.
• Deleting your account (Settings → Account → Delete Account) erases all your cloud

data (backups, published widgets/dashboards) and your authentication record. This is

irreversible. Records that live only on your device are unaffected.

7. Children

Voltdash is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your

region).

• 주행·퍼포먼스·센트리·주차 기록 — 기본은 로컬 저장(SwiftData). 클라우드 백업(§4)을

켠 경우에만 기기를 떠납니다.

3. 로그인 (선택)

로그인하지 않아도 앱의 모든 기능을 쓸 수 있습니다. 로그인(Apple/Google, Firebase

인증)을 선택하면 다음을 저장합니다:

• 이메일 주소. Apple의 '이메일 가리기'는 릴레이 주소를, Google은 실제 주소를 제공합니다.

백업을 계정에 연결하는 용도로만 쓰며 판매하거나 광고에 사용하지 않습니다.

4. 클라우드 백업·커뮤니티 (선택, 로그인·구독 필요)

백업을 켜거나 커뮤니티에 공유하면 다음이 Google Firebase(Firestore/Storage)에 저장됩니다:

• 백업: 주행/퍼포먼스/주차 기록과 내가 만든 위젯·대시보드(계정 연결). 주행 시각은

출퇴근 패턴을 드러낼 수 있어 개인정보로 취급합니다.

• 커뮤니티/리더보드(공개): 닉네임, 속도 클래스, 기록 시간, 에너지(kWh), 일반 차종,

그리고 내가 명시적으로 공유한 위젯/대시보드와 짧은 소개. **VIN·GPS·배터리 잔량·실명·BLE

키는 절대 올리지 않습니다.**

5. 하지 않는 것

• 광고 SDK, 교차 앱/웹 추적, 데이터 브로커 없음. 추적을 하지 않으므로 앱 추적 투명성(ATT)

권한을 요청하지 않습니다.

• 결제 카드 정보를 저장하지 않습니다. 구독은 Apple이 처리하고, 앱은 영수증만 검증해 구독

활성 여부(엔타이틀먼트)만 저장합니다.

6. 보관과 삭제

• 로컬 기록은 직접 삭제하거나 앱을 지울 때까지 유지됩니다.
• 계정 삭제(설정 → 계정 → 계정 삭제) 시 모든 클라우드 데이터(백업, 공유한 위젯/대시보드)와

인증 정보를 지웁니다. 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 기기에만 있는 기록은 그대로 남습니다.

7. 아동

Voltdash는 만 13세 미만(또는 지역별 최소 연령 미만)을 대상으로 하지 않습니다.
